YES! For the first time this year!
Hipsters!
Sorry I don’t know what that is. I don’t own a TV. I prefer listening to LPs, reading a book in my Rocking Chair and watching my beard grow.
Any plans to do an exhibit in Singapore?
We’re open to any invitation.
You’re the best!
Great interview on Form Fifty Five! Love the new site!
Thanks Hamza & Rob!
Your work feels somehow distant from the classic principles Swiss design and Modernism & Post-Modernism, maybe because of its spontaneity as oppose to the ubiquitous sense of order and simplicity found in Swiss design.
Do you feel that your work gives a new perspective within the Swiss narrative, being only an evolution of the traditional principles of Modernism? Or is your work a proof that you could be Swiss without following the ideas and aesthetics of the International Style? Just curious to know where you stand on the ever-evolving history of your country’s design culture.
Nice question Laura! Hm. I think there is no designer that isn’t somehow influenced by the rich history of the swiss style. Our work is often based on grids we love making rules and hate decoration. But compared to typical swiss design we don’t try to invent rules that are ristrictive we try to search for guidelines which lead to exciting results. So one you could say we are swiss designers in our minds but not on paper.
Any advices for young, fearful students?
Don’t look to the left or right. Do what you love! Observe what is happening and improve it. Ah, and don’t forget to drink with your clients!
Stunning stuff!
Amazing work, love your posters 🙂
Can I touch your hair?
What’s going on here?
Serious work.
Your work is full of life! Props!
